WHY SOAP VALLEY EXISTS

Soap Valley began with the idea that something as ordinary as washing could feel a little less ordinary.
Our body bars are made for those few minutes that belong entirely to you. Beautiful ingredients, distinctive botanical scents and considered craftsmanship come together to turn an everyday necessity into something worth looking forward to.
Because every day doesn’t have to mean ordinary.

HOW we craft
Made slowly. On purpose.
Soap Valley body bars are handcrafted in small batches using the traditional cold process method.
Each batch is carefully prepared, poured, cut and left to cure over several weeks. It is a slower way of making soap, but that’s rather the point.
Time is part of the process.
The result is a substantial 125g body bar with a rich lather, made with the same attention we give to every detail of Soap Valley.
No rushing required.
OUR INGREDIENTS
What Goes In Matters.
Our formulations begin with carefully selected botanical oils and butters, including organic shea butter, chosen to create a rich and satisfying cleanse.
Essential oils give each Soap Valley bar its distinctive botanical character, from bright citrus notes to deeper, grounding aromas.
Nothing is there simply to sound impressive.
Every ingredient has a reason for being there.

Soap Valley products are vegan and Leaping Bunny approved, with FSC certified packaging chosen as part of our commitment to making considered decisions throughout the product.
Every cosmetic formulation is also independently safety assessed through the required Cosmetic Product Safety Report process before being placed on the market.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Consultant, strategist, educator and now soap connoisseur, Gurpreet created Soap Valley from a belief that everyday body care deserves more thought, pleasure and imagination.
Guided by Purpose, Transparency, People and Accountability, she remains closely involved in everything from developing the formulations to dreaming up what comes next for the Valley.
When she isn’t making or strategising, you’ll usually find her swimming, sketching, cooking, learning the piano or taking a well-earned moment to decompress.

Soap Valley began with four body bars, but the idea was always bigger than soap.
We are slowly building a world of thoughtfully designed body care, beautiful objects and considered collections for the home, gifting and hospitality.
We don’t know every turn the valley will take just yet.
And we rather like it that way.

Soap Valley believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.
All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.
